Equipment

  • 1 Cast Iron Skillet (or heavy-duty frying pan)
  • 1 Chef’s knife
  • 1 Large salad bowl
  • 1 Tongs

Ingredients

  • !! Steak Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ribeye or Sirloin Steak Juicy and marbled
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • !! Salad Ingredients
  • 2 heads Romaine Lettuce Crisp, cold, and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar Dressing Creamy and tangy
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly shaved
  • 1 cup Croutons Golden-brown and crunchy

Instructions

  • 1 Sear the Steak: Pat steak dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear for 4 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms.
  • 2 Rest the Meat: Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. This allows the fibers to relax and keeps the juices inside.
  • 3 Prepare the Salad: Toss chopped Romaine lettuce in a large bowl with half of the dressing and Parmesan cheese until evenly coated.
  • 4 Slice and Assemble: Thinly slice the rested steak against the grain. Place atop the greens, drizzle with remaining dressing, and top with croutons and extra Parmesan.
