Ingredients
  

Steak Bites

  • 1.5 lb Beef Sirloin Steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb Baby Potatoes halved
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 5 Cloves Fresh Garlic minced
  • ½ cup Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Thyme fresh or dried
  • Salt-and-pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley for garnish

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch + 2 tbsp water for thickening

Instructions
 

  • Optional: Sear steak cubes in a hot cast iron skillet with butter for 1–2 minutes per side until golden-brown. Transfer to crockpot.
  • Add baby potatoes, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, paprika, thyme, salt and pepper, and optional add-ins to the crockpot.
  • Place butter pieces on top of everything.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  • Optional: Mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into crockpot 30 minutes before serving. Cook on HIGH to thicken.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.

Notes

  • Searing: Optional but highly recommended — adds incredible flavor.
  • LOW vs HIGH: Always prefer LOW setting for the most tender results.
  • Don't Lift the Lid: Each peek adds 20–30 minutes to cooking time.
  • Storage: Keeps in the fridge for 4 days, freezer for 3 months.
  • Best Cut: Sirloin or chuck steak work best for this recipe.
